Boraie Development is not only about making profits but also cares for the members of its community. In an effort to give back, Boraie Development in partnership with The Provident Bank Foundation were the primary sponsors of the revival of the Free Summer Movie Series program offered by State Theatre.
Some of the great movies to be shown during the campaign included Frozen, Despicable Me 2, Monster University, Aladdin, E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial, and Babe. All these films were scheduled for showings at 10.30am and 7.00pm, and the tickets were free.
All six movies are family-friendly movies, and because the tickets were free, most of the teenagers were presented with a rare opportunity to view the films in the company of their loved ones at the State Theatre, a historic 1921 movie palace famous for housing live performances in New Jersey.
In a report by NJBiz, during a press briefing at the re-launch of the series, Omar Boraie, the VP of Boraie development expressed that the real estate firm was enthusiastic in sponsoring the event once again and giving local communities an opportunity to see films for free in the historic venue.
Additionally, Jane Kurek, an executive director at the Provident Bank Foundation also remarked, “We are thrilled to help make it possible for families of all backgrounds to have these exciting State Theatre experiences free of charge this summer.”
Anna Marie Gewirtz, State Theatre VP of Development & Strategic Partnership elucidated her excitement in bringing back the summer movies series than had increased its line up to include six movies. She further expressed how State Theatre was working on providing affordable family-friendly programming. Additionally, Anna revealed that from the kindness of Boraie Development and The Provident Bank Foundation, the Initiative would access a more substantial number of families projected to nearly 7500 individuals.
